ABOUT THE SOLAR PARK PROJECT

Valeo FTE – Origin

A photovoltaic (PV) open-air system is being built at the Valeo site in Ebern. From the construction site setup to the handover of the area and the installation of the modules, this timeline shows how the solar park takes shape step by step.

On this timeline, we document the most important milestones, the construction progress, and the assembly of the central components of the system.

Modules, cable routes and earthing

The modular units are being further assembled and fitted with modules. In parallel, the excavator work in the park is underway: the cable ducts are being laid and stainless steel pipes are being installed between the tables.

The first modules are assembled

The frame profiles and substructure continue to grow over the area; the first modules are already installed. In addition, a prototype for the installation of the inverters was built directly on the substructure.

Frame profiles and test table

The frame profiles are driven into the ground, creating the base structure for the modular units. A first mock-up table with modules already shows what the finished system will look like.

The area will be handed over

During a joint inspection with Valeo, the area will officially be handed over for assembly. The conditions are recorded in the protocol: The area is fenced off, mulched and covered with tarpaulins, and the first profile packages for the substructure are ready.

05 September

New fence and surveying

The old fence is removed and the open space is newly fenced off. At the same time, the terrain is surveyed so that the location of the modular tables can be precisely determined.

The construction site is being set up

Construction machinery and material containers arrive, as well as the first modules, the substructure and the inverters. A stair tower is being built on the building. This marks the start of the construction work.
