CUBE Contracting for PV systems
Your own green solar power without investment
- Complete project takeover
- Zero risks, obligations or effort for you
- Plannable electricity cost savings of up to 30%
With Contracting for PV systems with or without Large battery storage systems CUBE CONCEPTS invests through various models and the client bears No economic risk. The client simply saves up to 30 % in electricity costs, without any financial or personnel costs of their own. Fully financed by CUBE CONCEPTS, the PV system produces low-cost solar power on a roof or open space and the operation becomes more climate-neutral - with a system that is perfectly tailored to individual electricity consumption. In comparison 'Solar roof rental vs. contracting', contracting is always the more attractive solution.
Contracting: the easiest way to cheap electricity
As a contractor, CUBE CONCEPTS takes on all the tasks involved, from analysis and planning, through construction and acceptance, to maintenance and servicing. CUBE CONCEPTS provides comprehensive advice on the possible and most economical Contracting operator models. These vary depending on the planned size of the PV system and the current legal situation. The client simply continues to concentrate on his core business and benefits from the predictable, affordable and reliable power supply.

Maximum efficiency without own investments
Energy contracting completely eliminates all investments for the client, as CUBE CONCEPTS takes over the financing and construction of the system in full. The PV system is reliably operated by the contractor, while the client benefits from predictable costs and sustainable energy. This makes the switch to climate-friendly solar power simple, economical and without financial risk.
The advantages of contracting PV systems at a glance:
- No investment, no economic risk and no hidden costs for the client.
- CUBE CONCEPTS' contracting services are offered throughout the EU via SUSI Partners AG, Zurich.
- CUBE CONCEPTS takes over the entire project management, i.e. all clarifications with the grid operator and structural engineers for roof and open space photovoltaic systems or solar carports and other areas that are to be covered with PV systems.
-
CUBE CONCEPTS offers clear and proven operator contracts:
- Pure contracting with an electricity supply contract as an onsite PPA and
- EEG-proof, electricity price brake and electricity tax-neutral contracting
- The easement required by CUBE CONCEPTS is subordinate. This does not reduce the value of the property and has no effect on the recoverability and fungibility of the property
- CUBE CONCEPTS assumes the risk of direct marketing, i.e. there is no contractual off-take obligation.
- The CUBE CONCEPTS contracts have terms of 15 to 20 years and offer the option of long-term electricity price security.
- Comprehensive insurance package: Business interruption insurance and thus lasting cost security including disassembly and reassembly in the event of roof renovation etc.
- Thanks to its extensive network of solar installers, CUBE CONCEPTS is able to deliver promptly, i.e. construction can begin no later than 8-12 weeks after grid approval.
- A purchase option is also contractually provided for during the term of the contract
- Contracts can be adjusted at any time by means of peak load management using storage solutions and thermal energy storage solutions.
- With CUBE Vision CUBE CONCEPTS offers a cross-system and cross-location monitoring system that is independent of manufacturers and components and provides precise yield forecasts.

The three steps of CUBE Contracting for PV systems

Design for Contracing
- Planning a PV system and design based on the current and future electricity demand as well as the local conditions, e.g. size and nature of the roof surface(s)
- In Germany: Planning according to VDE 0100 Part 712, clarification of e.g. necessary disconnections, feed-in management according to TAB and VDE-AR- 4105 NS and VDE-AR-N 4110
- Application for the grid compatibility test with the grid operator, or in accordance with country-specific requirements
- Analysis of grid compatibility with evaluation of additional costs, e.g. for medium-voltage systems, maintenance of existing protection, switch-off specifications and the associated Plant certificate
- Examination and clarification of local conditions, such as glare effects in the vicinity of airports, increased pollution from nearby exhaust/particle/dust-producing industries
- Use of PV SOL as bank-accepted planning and simulation software
- Investigation and delimitation of third-party consumers/meter management
- Clarification with internal plant interfaces, e.g. fire protection, plant fire department, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, etc.
- Assistance with checking the structural analysis, system structural analysis is provided
- Planning the necessary future charging infrastructure with a GHG concept
- Tender for the system in the CUBE-Solateur network in accordance with standardized or country-specific specifications
Construction at Contracing
- Presentation and evaluation of solar contractor offers, taking into account all qualitative, technical, commercial and local aspects (CUBE internal scoring model)
- Organization and ordering of telecontrol technology, commissioning of system certificate/protection technology
- Coordination with direct marketers, interface specifications, hardware ordering
- Possible division of solar power (DC/AC): Taking over the general contractor negotiations, interface definition and contract preparation
- Preparation of purchase and construction contract with optimized payment terms to exclude construction risks
- Coordination of delivery and construction dates
- Documentation of the location of WR/cabinets and cable routes to minimize queries from tradesmen
- First drone flight before the start of construction/photo documentation
- Preparation of a roof handover report
- Second drone flight during the construction phase/photo documentation
- Invoice control solar installer and release recommendation
- Ongoing construction management
- For Germany: EEG commissioning logging
- Third drone flight after commissioning/photo documentation
- Registration of the installation in the market master data register or national register requirements
- Coordination of appointments and clarification of any details with the grid operator regarding grid access
- Monitoring/logging of network performance
- Instruction on system operation/fault analysis etc. via Ampere Cloud
- Onboarding the system
- Mounting the hardware (monitor) incl. Raspberry (optional)
- Integration in CUBE Vision PHOTOVOLATIC -MONITORING®
Monitoring for contracting
- Photovoltaic insuranceAdjustment/inclusion in the comprehensive CUBE insurance package, incl. business interruption insurance (additional costs due to external power supply, loss of income from the feed-in tariff, dismantling and reassembly costs)
- Registration of the system with the grid operator, the Federal Network Agency and, if applicable, the transmission grid operator (EEG levy), customs (electricity tax) and other authorities
- Conclusion of a direct marketing contract or corresponding national regulations
- Submission of all necessary notifications or the preparation, information or statements ready for signature that are required by law in each case
- Processing and checking all invoices
- CUBE Vision PHOTOVOLTAIK-MONITORING®: individual widget arrangement, "Count Down" programming (optional), alternatively free access to the API interface
- Third-party consumers: provision of a qualified service provider for billing
- Complete project documentation (online or offline)
- Automatic reporting, e.g. monthly reports for investors, annual report as an attachment for annual and sustainability reports
- Maintenance and remote monitoring incl. recording and updating of system documentation
