Going green: CUBE CONCEPTS converts corporate fleet to e-mobility

At CUBE CONCEPTS, sustainability is more than just a business model – it also begins right on our own doorstep. That is why we have taken another step towards more climate-friendly business practices: our vehicle fleet now consists almost entirely of hybrid electric vehicles. In doing so, we underline our commitment not only to driving the energy transition forward with innovative energy projects, but also to actively living it within our own company.

Ten new hybrid vehicles for daily project use

The new hybrid fleet initially comprises ten vehicles. This will enable our technicians and project managers to travel with significantly lower emissions in the future when planning photovoltaic and battery storage projects, supervising construction sites, attending maintenance appointments, or advising customers directly on site.

The transition integrates seamlessly into our core business. As a specialist for photovoltaic systems, battery storage, and intelligent energy solutions, we develop concepts for sustainable energy supply every day. For us, therefore, the most environmentally friendly mobility possible is also part of a responsible corporate strategy.

Consistently practicing sustainability within the company

The new hybrid vehicles offer several advantages at once. They reduce the carbon footprint of our daily operations, lower long-term operating costs, and at the same time provide our employees with a modern, comfortable, and future-oriented mobility solution.

At the same time, the new corporate fleet sends a clear message both internally and externally: CUBE CONCEPTS is putting the transition toward greater sustainability into practice not only in project development, but also in its everyday work. Anyone who helps companies implement the energy transition should also reflect this commitment in their own actions.

E-mobility as part of our corporate strategy

The transition to e-mobility is not a one-time project for us, but an ongoing process. With the first ten vehicles, the foundation has been laid – further steps on the path to even more sustainable corporate mobility will follow. Wherever it is technically and economically feasible, we will consistently continue to develop our vehicle fleet and increase the share of low-emission vehicles.

Because whoever shapes the energy transition for their customers should also consistently practice it within their own company.

The market stability reserve in emissions trading

Based on the Total Number of Annual Certificates (TNAC), the MSR transfers surpluses to a reserve or reintroduces them to the market in case of scarcity. Since 2023, surplus stocks have also been permanently cancelled to ensure the long-term steering effect of emissions trading within the „Fit for 55“ package.
