COEBIZ & CUBE CONCEPTS at BUILDINX 2025

At the center of the trade fair presentation were expert lectures on the optimal dimensioning of PV and BESS systems using load profile analyses. The cooperation shows how industrial real estate can become more resilient to volatile electricity markets through intelligent energy management and flexible financing solutions.

The BUILDINX 2025 In Dortmund, it once again served as an important platform for decision-makers from logistics, industry, and trade this year. CUBE CONCEPTS was there together with its long-standing partner COEBIZ represented at a booth for three days. The focus was on the field-tested models for PV and BESSContracting as well as intelligent energy solutions for industrial and logistics properties.

Focus: Combined Competence for PV and BESS Solutions

CUBE CONCEPTS and COEBIZ have been successfully collaborating for several years and have already completed various photovoltaic projects, including in the logistics and retail sectors. The combination of both strengths thus creates clear added value:

  • CUBE CONCEPTS: Development, financing, and operation of photovoltaic and battery storage solutions under the Contracting model—with no upfront costs for customers, but with a transparent and predictable long-term electricity pricing structure.
  • COEBIZ: Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) for large PV projects and integration of intelligent energy management systems for optimizing load profiles and self-consumption.

This interplay creates economical, scalable, and grid-beneficial overall solutions – ideal for new, existing, and logistics properties.

Expert presentation on the optimal dimensioning of PV & BESS

In front of an expert audience, Björn Temp (Technical Director) and Jochen Schäfer (Chief Investment Officer) from CUBE CONCEPTS demonstrated real-world project experience in the optimal design of photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in combination with a EMS that sustainably lowers electricity prices – regardless of the financing model. The technical presentation focused on:

  • Practical examples of load profile analyses & technical designs
  • Role of BESS in peak load reduction & Self-consumption optimization
  • Economic performance indicators for industry & logistics
  • The Comparison: Buying vs. Contracting

Strong joint appearance at BUILDINX 2025

The joint trade show appearance once again demonstrated how well COEBIZ and CUBE CONCEPTS work together. Both companies share the same Vision: to make industrial and logistics sites more resilient, sustainable, and independent through economically viable PV and BESS solutions.

BUILDINX 2025 provided the perfect platform for this—featuring many in-depth discussions and engaging exchanges on current market requirements, Contracting models, and technical solutions
