Contract signing in the Czech Republic: 1 MWp PV system for Purem Rakovník

CUBE CONCEPTS is building a 1-MWp rooftop solar system for Purem Rakovník in the Czech Republic. With over 2,400 modules, the system generates approximately 970,000 kWh of green electricity annually, covers 87% of the site’s energy needs, and reduces CO₂ emissions by nearly 500 tons per year.

On September 11, 2025, Purem Rakovník spol. s.r.o. in Rakovník, Czech Republic, and CUBE CONCEPTS took a significant step towards a sustainable energy supply. As part of a festive contract signing ceremony, the collaboration to implement a nearly [power output value] PV rooftop system was launched. 1 MWp (999.58 kWp).

970,640 kWh of green electricity annually for Purem Rakovník

The facility will have an area of 4,760 m² take and with 2,438 Modules equipped. The expected annual production 970,640 kWh electricity covers a large part of the energy demand directly on-site. Around 87 % of the energy generated uses Purme immediately on site, only 126.169 kWh flow into the public grid. Thus, the project not only contributes to energy efficiency but also to independence from external electricity procurement.

500 tons of CO₂ savings

Particularly impressive are the effects on climate protection. The photovoltaic system avoids around 494.971 kilograms of CO₂ emissions – that's almost 500 tons. This will in the future 15% of total production at the site is climate-neutral enables.

Purem Rakovník as another building block for climate neutrality

The commitment of Purem Rakovník is part of an overarching strategy of Purem by Eberspächer. How the European operations will be made climate-neutral step by step. CUBE CONCEPTS was also allowed to, prior to this Work in Dresden with a 2 MWp photovoltaic system equip. With the new project in Rakovník, this path continues consistently. And it shows how partnership and technological competence lead to sustainable success.

Contract signing in Rakovník

The partners met in person in Rakovník to sign the contract: Michal Zechovský and Ivana Lacková represented Purem Rakovník, Vit Hlavacek represented CUBE CONCEPTS, and Miroslav Calda was on site as a representative of the implementing company, ATLANTIS. During this event, not only was a contract signed, but the foundation was also laid for a joint Vision project. The planned photovoltaic system symbolizes a partnership that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and responsibility—paving the way for a climate-friendly future.

Redispatch reservation

What is the „redispatch reservation“?

It provides that new renewable energy plants in overloaded grid areas may in the future be curtailed without compensation. This proposed mechanism in the grid package breaks with the previous principle of guaranteed remuneration and unilaterally shifts the financial risk of insufficient grid capacity to plant operators, which severely jeopardizes the bankability of large-scale projects.
