CUBE CONCEPTS Summer Exchange 2024

At the Summer Exchange 2024 in Mallorca, over 30 „CUBIES“ from Germany and Spain came together to work on process optimizations and innovative solar concepts. In addition to exciting workshops on ESG and battery storage, strengthening team spirit was a key focus during a joint sailing trip.

From June 4th to 6th, 2024, CUBE CONCEPTS' annual Summer Exchange Meeting took place on the beautiful island of Mallorca. This time, over 30 enthusiastic CUBIES from Germany and Spain experienced three unforgettable days full of exciting activities and valuable information.

Looking back and ahead

The arrival in Palma already promised a promising start. After a warm welcome, we went straight to the office, where a shared breakfast kicked things off. The management inspired with a captivating presentation, reviewing the highlights of the January kickoff event and offering an exciting outlook on the second half of 2024. Afterward, the new team members introduced themselves, followed by an impressive presentation from the tech team on optimizing new processes.

Cross-functional Summer Exchange

After a short lunch break, the different teams dove into group work, developing creative solutions for their projects. The afternoon was enriched by engaging presentations: the use of LinkedIn in marketing and sales, as well as the far-reaching impacts of ESG issues on companies, were discussed. A highlight of the day was our partner's presentation on innovative models and opportunities for solar carports. The evening found its perfect conclusion in a cozy beach restaurant, where the day wound down with good food and enjoyable conversations.

Adventure & Relaxation

On the second day, adventure was on the agenda, and this year's motto, “Set sail and navigate with passion to success,” was aptly implemented: A sailing trip on a large catamaran, which started directly in Palma in the morning, promised a lively atmosphere and pure relaxation. After two hours, the sailboat reached a picturesque bay where all participants could swim, snorkel, and paddleboard. The next highlight of the day was a lively group dinner with freshly prepared paella at the longest table on the island – an unforgettable experience that strengthened team cohesion.

Workshops & exciting talks

The last day of the meeting began again at the office with exciting presentations on battery storage, checklists, and use cases from multipliers. The results of the group work were presented and discussed animatedly. After a late but delicious tapas, the participants from headquarters made their way to the airport to return to Düsseldorf or Kaarst, respectively.

The 2024 Exchange Meeting was a resounding success, characterized by intense discussions, new insights, and a strong sense of community.

We thank our entire team for their dedicated participation and look forward to a successful second half of 2024!
