Starting in 2025, the offshore grid charge will increase to 0.816 ct/kWh and the KWKG levy to 0.277 ct/kWh, while EEG funding will now be financed through the federal budget. The new „Surcharge for Special Network Usage“ (1.558 ct/kWh) will also distribute the costs for regional grid expansion more evenly across all electricity consumers nationwide for the first time.
