Financial Accountant / Tax Assistant (m/f/d)

Your mission:

In your role as a Financial Accountant/Tax Clerk (m/f/d), you make a central contribution to the financial transparency and stability of our company.

Your tasks:

Independent booking of all business transactions for multiple companies within the corporate group
Processing of ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts, clearing accounts)
Monitoring and reconciliation of OPOS accounts and intercompany settlements.
Creation of monthly business management evaluations (BWA) and cost accounting
Creation of monthly VAT returns and deadline control for tax reports
Execution and monitoring of payment transactions, including bank postings and liquidity overview.
Account Reconciliation and Account Clearing (General Ledger Accounts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable)
Preparation and participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP
Communication with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities
Support with special tax issues, e.g. tax audits
Collaborate on the further development of digital accounting processes and internal workflows

What you bring with you:

Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training in financial accounting or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally within a corporate group or in a medium-sized company environment.
Secure Handling of DATEV Unternehmen online and DATEV Kanzlei Rechnungswesen
Good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel for analysis and reconciliations.
Sound knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) and tax law, particularly UStG (Value Added Tax Act), EStG (Income Tax Act), and AO (Fiscal Code).
Secure handling of tax regulations for invoice processing
Experience with DATEV interfaces, digital document processing, and bank import functions is a plus
Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and intercompany reconciliations is desirable.
Basic knowledge of wage tax and social security law is an advantage
