It provides a central platform for collecting, storing and making available evidence of the electrical properties of generation units and components. ZEREZ is operated by FGW e.V., the F\u00f6rdergesellschaft Windenergie und andere dezentrale Energien, which has been entrusted with this task since July 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose &amp; advantages of ZEREZ<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit dem 1. Februar 2025 ist die Nutzung von ZEREZ <strong>legally binding<\/strong>. The aim is to strengthen the safety and reliability of the energy supply by making grid connection procedures more efficient and transparent. This applies in particular to all units and components in accordance with the VDE technical connection rules (VDE-AR-N 4105, <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/vde-ar-n-4110-connection-rules-for-medium-voltage-pv-systems\/\">4110<\/a> and 4120) for the entire <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/the-plant-certificate\/\">Plant certificate<\/a>. The most important advantages at a glance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manufacturers can securely and securely <strong>Publish centrally<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certification bodies can <strong>Uncomplicated changes<\/strong> and the <strong>Duty of supervision<\/strong> perceive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Network operator<\/strong> receive fast and <strong>easy access<\/strong> to all necessary <strong>Certificate data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The register entries <strong>facilitate the grid connection process<\/strong>as all relevant information such as performance values and parameters are provided via the unique ZEREZ ID. This saves planners and operators of decentralized energy systems time and effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal basis &amp; use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal basis for ZEREZ is set out in the <strong>\u00a7 49d<\/strong> of the Energy Industry Act (<strong>Energy Industry Act<\/strong>) and the Electrotechnical Properties Verification Ordinance (<strong>NELEV<\/strong>) verankert. Bereits seit einigen Monaten k\u00f6nnen Hersteller und Zertifizierungsstellen ihre Zertifikate freiwillig einpflegen. Seit Februar 2025 ist der Registereintrag obligatorisch. Der Anschluss von Anlagen ohne g\u00fcltiges Zertifikat an das \u00f6ffentliche Stromnetz ist dann nicht mehr m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Functionality of the certificate register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ZEREZ lists all certificates that prove the electrical properties of generating units and components. These certificates are only issued by accredited certification bodies. The most important functions include<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clear identification<\/strong> by the ZEREZ-ID: Each certificate is given a registration number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access for authorized bodies<\/strong>: Grid operators can view the certificates required for the grid connection check.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Data security and efficiency<\/strong>The digital platform replaces the previous postal transmission of documents and enables a dual control principle between manufacturers and certification bodies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verpflichtend seit Februar 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit Februar 2025 d\u00fcrfen zertifizierungspflichtige Anlagen und Einheiten nur mit einem im ZEREZ hinterlegten Zertifikat ans Stromnetz angeschlossen werden. Dies betrifft insbesondere:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Photovoltaic systems (inverters and additional components)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Battery storage systems or <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/battery-storage\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"28816\">Battery storage<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combined heat and power plants and other power generation units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Network operators will check the completeness of the certificates using the ZEREZ ID before commissioning takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ZEREZ erweitert um Zertifikate f\u00fcr netzbildende Eigenschaften<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit der Weiterentwicklung des <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/current-reserve-with-better-new-source-of-extinction-in-ftm-operation\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"27990\">Current reserve<\/a>-Marktes wurde auch der Funktionsumfang von ZEREZ erweitert. <strong>Seit Juni 2026<\/strong> k\u00f6nnen Hersteller und Zertifizierungsstellen im Register zus\u00e4tzlich Einheiten- und Komponentenzertifikate mit netzbildenden Eigenschaften hinterlegen und verwalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Erweiterung betrifft Zertifikate, die den Anforderungen des VDE FNN-Hinweises \u201eTechnische Anforderungen an netzbildende Eigenschaften inklusive der Bereitstellung von Momentanreserve\u201c entsprechen. Damit reagiert ZEREZ auf die steigenden Anforderungen an die Systemstabilit\u00e4t und die zunehmende Bedeutung netzbildender Technologien im deutschen Stromsystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die neue Funktion steht f\u00fcr Anlagen in der Mittel-, Hoch- und H\u00f6chstspannung gem\u00e4\u00df den technischen Anschlussregeln VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120 und 4130 zur Verf\u00fcgung. Insbesondere Betreiber von Batteriespeichern und anderen leistungselektronischen Erzeugungsanlagen profitieren von einer standardisierten und transparenten Dokumentation ihrer netzbildenden Eigenschaften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wie bei allen anderen Zertifikaten bleiben die hinterlegten Daten \u00fcber die digitale Schnittstelle von ZEREZ abrufbar. Netzbetreiber, Zertifizierungsstellen und weitere Marktakteure k\u00f6nnen die Informationen automatisiert nutzen, wodurch sowohl Zertifizierungs- als auch Netzanschlussprozesse weiter vereinfacht werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ZEREZ as a digital solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit ZEREZ hat die Energiewirtschaft eine zentrale und digitale L\u00f6sung erhalten, die sowohl die Netzanschlussverfahren vereinfacht als auch die Sicherheit und Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit des Stromnetzes verbessert. CUBE CONCEPTS begr\u00fc\u00dft das l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberf\u00e4llige online Zertifikate-Register.
