It is part of the Energy and Climate Compass. Together with the Association of Energy-Intensive Industries in Germany (EID), PwC drew up a compelling overview of the turbulent year 2023. The focus was on the energy and climate policy developments. We were there to understand energy-intensive companies. Because the past year was also marked by heated discussions about <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/industrial-electricity-prices-in-european-comparison\/\">Industrial electricity prices<\/a>, <strong>Power plant strategies<\/strong> and rising <a href=\"https:\/\/cubeconcepts.de\/en\/electricity-grid-charges-rising-rapidly\/\">Electricity grid charges<\/a>. These issues kept industry and commerce at a standstill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lectures &amp; Debates on Key Energy Issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High-ranking representatives from industry, business, and science sparked lively debates. Key topics ranged from <strong>strategic transformation<\/strong> until <strong>sustainable corporate concepts<\/strong> and the balance between regulation and competitiveness. As interested observers, we were able to witness firsthand how central questions that concern our clients were addressed. How are the <strong>Energy costs<\/strong> for energy-intensive consumers? What happens to grid fees and taxes? Which <strong>Relief<\/strong> are possible and how are ecological concessions handled?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussions on the successful implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy were particularly interesting. Likewise, the implementation of hydrogen projects and the impact of the reform of the EU emissions trading system (EU-ETS II) were also a focus of attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Developing future visions for energy-intensive companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event offered an excellent platform to better understand the challenges and opportunities of our clients. The concrete implementation steps and future visions of the energy-intensive industry are of great interest to us. All the insights help us to further develop energy projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understand current developments &amp; develop individual solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We always aim to understand the challenges our clients face.
