Jsou-li poddimenzovan\u00e9, lze v\u00fdkonov\u00e9 \u0161pi\u010dky omezit pouze za ide\u00e1ln\u00edch podm\u00ednek. Tato energetick\u00e1 ztr\u00e1ta fotovoltaick\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu v pr\u016fb\u011bhu cel\u00e9ho roku je zpravidla zanedbateln\u00e1 a je t\u0159eba ji porovnat s vy\u0161\u0161\u00edmi investi\u010dn\u00edmi n\u00e1klady na v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed st\u0159\u00edda\u010de. U syst\u00e9mu o v\u00fdkonu 700 kWp, kter\u00fd by ro\u010dn\u011b v z\u00e1vislosti na lokalit\u011b mohl vyprodukovat p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 630 000 \u2013 700 000 kWh, pokud by byla navr\u017eena s dimenzovac\u00edm faktorem 100 %, \u010din\u00ed energetick\u00e1 ztr\u00e1ta v na\u0161ich zem\u011bpisn\u00fdch \u0161\u00ed\u0159k\u00e1ch p\u0159i poddimenzov\u00e1n\u00ed o 120 % v pr\u016fm\u011bru 4 500 kWh. Na druhou stranu je t\u0159eba po\u010d\u00edtat s n\u00e1klady v \u0159\u00e1du n\u011bkolika des\u00edtek tis\u00edc eur na st\u0159\u00edda\u010de s vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm jmenovit\u00fdm v\u00fdkonem. V z\u00e1vislosti na intenzit\u011b slune\u010dn\u00edho z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed se v Evrop\u011b pova\u017euj\u00ed za obzvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b ekonomick\u00e9 dimenzovac\u00ed koeficienty mezi 110 a 130 %.
